Hello community,

I have to install the xServer 2.1. Which Windows-Server version do I need?

Best Regards,
Christian

Hello Christian,

we usually test and deploy the servers in Windows Server 2012 R2 default installation without any special performance tweaks. This is where we process our benchmarks, too.

The latest benchmarks are available for download at the DevZone. The following documents are just "snapshot" type and will expire in a few weeks.
xserver-benchmark-2.0.0-windows.pdf
xServer 2.0.0 - Benchmarks Windows (Attention: Link will not be updated, document expires)
(887.35 KiB) Downloaded 383 times
xserver-benchmark-2.0.0-linux.pdf
xServer 2.0.0 - Benchmarks Linux (Attention: Link will not be updated, document expires)
(884.34 KiB) Downloaded 329 times
Best regards Bernd

PS: I'm running the servers on my regular desktop: Windows 10 Enterprise, Intel I7-2.4GHz, 16GB Memory, 512GB SSD. Performes fine for tests and integration even with activated searchgraphs (though their computation requires up to 30mins).

Hi there,

the improvement has been forwarded to DEV and will be prioritized by PMs ;-)
For now you might have to check the benchmarks and my given desktop environment which works fine.

Best regards Bernd
