Country codes

Post by danlez »

Hello!
Our client sent us maps to sdk on Android, but I can't recognize some letter abbreviations. I found yours documentation:
http://navigator.ptvgroup.com/DE/sdk/countrycodes.html
but it still doesn't contain what I looking for.

Shortcuts:
- BAL
- BNL
-FEE
-IBA
-OST
-SOE

Have a nice day,
Daniel

Hi Daniel,

here comes our product experts feedback - thanks to Sebastian...
The abbreviations posted are connected to our map delivery. This has nothing to do with country codes.

BNL for example stands for BeNeLux.

Our navigation maps normally contain multiple countries:
Here is the complete list.
• AUT: Austria
• BAL (Baltic States): Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania
• BNL (BeNeLux): Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg
• GBR (British Isles): Great Britain, Ireland
• CHE: Switzerland
• DEU: Germany
• DNK: Denmark
• EUR: Main European roads, required for rendering and international routing
• FEE (Far Eastern Europe): Moldova, Ukraine, Belarus
• FIN: Finland
• FRA: France
• IBA (Iberian Peninsula): Spain, Portugal, Gibraltar
• ITA: Italy
• NOR: Norway
• OST (Eastern Europe): Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Hungary
• RUS: Russia
• SOE (South-East Europe): Albania, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Northern Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia
• SWE: Sweden
• TUR: Turkey
