Impact Hazardous / TruckAttributes

Post by Bernd Welter »

HI there,

as you know PTV is proud of being able to consider the TruckAttributes in the context of routing. Here's a little demo of the impact of such attributes on routing.
:geek: If you want me to compare some coordinates for you let me know.
Routing within the region of Hamburg. No TruckAttributes applied.
The average routing distance is about 6,177 km. The average traveltime is about 9'547 seconds.

In this sample I applied a vehicle height of 5 meters and activated the TruckAttributes. As the maximum allowed height for the Elbtunnel is 4 meters the routings have to perform detours.
Average distance: 6.771 km (+10%)
Average traveltime : 11'359 seconds (+19%)
