Hi there,

from time to time prospects ask for the data centers where the custom data is stored because they have to ensure specific conditions within projects considering SLAs or NDAs.

Let me just mention the following details:

• On this page we list the various backends of xServer INTERNET and for each one we also mention the DATA CENTER in AZURE which is used (e.g. West Europe / NETHERLANDS for the Europe City map, which means AMSTERDAM)
• So another service such as North America or Australia could use other data centers.
• Normally the servers do not store customers detailed data (such as "customer addresses" or "order IDs"). The persistent info we keep is the distance matrix which contains the coordinates of the routed relations. Temporarily we also store the plan objects that are used in the tour optimization.
• No clue whether future services may store more data. My response refers to todays architecture.
