Re: Adjusting an existing path to the map
Hello Joao, within your xMapmatch server's configuration folder there are several files named xmapmatch-[profilename].properties: xmapmatch- default .properties xmapmatch- dense-signal .properties xmapmatch- local-matching .properties xmapmatch- sparse-signal .properties These files contain a lot of...

Re: Multi-language maneuvers
Hello Balazs, what I recommend to be safe is to send another transaction to xroute but with a reduced ResultListOption setting: just request the texts and the manouevers - disable the polygon, the segments, nodes and any other redundant option...). Working with text replacement is "at your own ...

Re: Maneuver localized text problem
Hello Balazs,
I just spoke to the xserver developer team leader. The topic is reproduced and seems to be located in the data level, not in the engine. Currently we are checking the data preparation process. Maybe we have to provide a patch for the map data.
Sorry for the unconvenience,
Bernd

Re: Maneuver localized text problem
Hello Balazs,
I forwarded this issue to our developers. From my point of view this is not a WCF problem. The XML document itself seems to return garbled strings. With such input the user interface based on WCF can't produce proper output...
Let's wait for the developer's response!

Re: How to avoid transit routing through certain countries
Hello Metin, I'm not sure what you'd like to achieve - But how about an iterative approach: Perform a standard routing. The response contains a Waypoint-Array that contains the given input stations extended by several properties such as "the country code" (e.g. 41 for Switzerland). If the ...

Section Buffer - Routing impossible: why?
Hello together, these days a customer asked me about some strange behaviour within a simple tour planning call: though he requested ROAD based computation of driving time and distance the engine obviously returned geometric values. This effect is caused by a configuration parameter (dima ini-file) t...

Possible depot scenarios
Hello together, recently I've been asked whether our tour planning software is able to cover the following scenarios regarding the assignment of depots (parametrization of depotIdStart and depotIdEnd is mentioned below). Round trips - start and end of a tour is at the same depot (startDepotID==endDe...

Why does a small server use more memory than a large one?
Hello guys, one of my customers has two different servers running xRoute. Server #1: 4 cores (poolsize = 4) Server #2: 14 cores (poolsize = 14) While the average xRouteModule.exe process on the small server uses about 350MB of memory (or per core) the average load on the large server is about 150mb/...

Re: How to display TunnelRestrictionCodes in xMap?
Meanwhile I also identified some non-100 tunnels. Here is an example: The object infos (coordinates in Mercator, used map PTV_Europe_City_Map_Premium_2014_1T): <ns2:LayerObject loId="0" hiId="0" descr="TUNNEL_RESTRICTION|2=110"> <ns2:pixel y="318.0" x="53...

How to display TunnelRestrictionCodes in xMap?
Hello together, today I tried to visualize TunnelRestrictionCodes via xMap. Voila - it works. Under the following conditions: - you have to request the truckAttributes via the RoadEditor layer - you have to use a render.ini file that contains the following [Roadeditor.TunnelRestriction] Color=255 Tr...
