Map data for Geocoding

I updated from on-premise Version 2.11 to 2.14.
Do I need to update the map data as well, especially the Geocoding indexes?

The reason I am asking is that I don't see any improvements in the Geocoding issues I used to have.
For eg. If i perform a free text search "DE Berl" I expect to see Berlin as in:
https://xserver2-europe-eu-test.cloud.p ... /index.htm

But, I still see random unrelated results as I used to see in v2.11

EDIT: I updated to v2.14, not 2.15.

We did some improvements regarding country and city input but you have to wait for xServer 2.15 which will be released in the next days. If you have not updated the index since your 2.11 installation I also recommend to update it.
On our xServer-Internet test environment you can see and test in advanced what is coming with the next release.
