Does xServer Internet support static IPs?

Post by Bernd Welter »

HI there,

one of my prospects is interested in xServer INTERNET. His firewall doesn't support DNS based entries and so he asked whether the cloud services are using static IPs.

Can you give us some info about this topic and how it is handeled within AZURE?

Best regards,
Bernd

Technically it's possible to provide static IP's within Azure, but we do not support that yet. At the moment, a IP change can happen at any time.

Update 23.08.2022 (Nazir):
We currently are not recommending using IP addresses.
There is a high probability that IP addresses will not be changed for a long time. However, there is a chance that they may change. Therefore, we will not be responsible for the any failures caused by it.

We can provide you the IP address and whenever they cannot access the servers via IP, you are always welcome to ask us for the new addresses.
