What is the meaning of NAMED TOLL?

Post by Bernd Welter »

Hi there,

according to the API there's an object category called NAMED TOLL. Unfortunately I can't find much information about it's meaning, usecase and constraints so it's not possible to decide how to deal with it. Can anyone give me some more info about this term?

so here is a comment from our data expert Farnaz:

The feature "named toll" enables us to calculate a generic (distance based) toll within a section based toll system, e.g. we use it for a prognosis of upcoming Ecotax (France) or the upcoming German "Bundesstraßenmaut" aka "Toll on federal trunk roads".
