Integration Unit Codes / IUC

Post by Bernd Welter »

Hello together,

recently I have been asked by a customer where the documentation of the integration unit codes is located: there is a dead link within the current xRoute API (Waypoint class) and I already forwarded this issue to product development.

Within the xRoute server you can find a list of the integration unit codes (requires a running xRoute!).

Please be aware that some IUCs are covered by a set of codes (sub-iu's), e.g. Russia (formerly known as "16") consists 8 different codes 1016, 2016, 3016, ... 8016. So the unit code itself is described by the 3 closing digits.

This is also the case with
  • 100 = USA
  • 091 = India
  • 200 = Canada
  • 761 = Australia
Kind regards Bernd

By the way: any clue why the sub unit codes are used?
Required due to size? I was just asked by a partner.
Best regards,

Several reasons
Limited filesize while converting data
Limited size of GP files
Rollout of smaller units is possible
