Grey Icons in PTV_TrafficIncidents

Post by Freund »

Hello,

we want to use the PTV_TrafficIncidents feature layer.
But all icons are grey. Why?

We have to use the tile server.
https://s01-xserver2-europe.cloud.ptvgr ... cIncidents

Can you help?

Best regards

Hello Christian,

think positive: that's not an error ;-)

If an icon is displayed with a grey color this means that there is a time dependent traffic condition with a defined validity period and this interval does not match the TimeConsiderationMode of the map.
TimeConsideration of the map: SNAPSHOT 27.4.2020 - 00:11:00 (UTC+2).
Highlighted incident: [(y2020m4d27h2m58s30){h12m58s30}]
This means : the incident is valid from 2:58:30 on 27.4.2020 and lasts for "12:58:30" (till 4pm).
As the scope of the map is some hours before this incident it is displayed in grey.
Most of the grey icons are construction sites and therefore are given with a longer validity period.
So in other words this means that the data of the grey icons is outdated or you display a map with a future context and those blockings will no longer be relevant (usually short term incidents).

Check TimeConsiderationScenario to get more details about this.

Best regards,
Bernd
