Cheers,

I've been asked whether andd how we reflect the latest bridge incident on the A45 near Lüdenscheid. As you might have heard there's an important highway bridge that is no longer accessible due to severe damage:

This information is already part of the regular PTV_TrafficIncidents and therefore the routing requests will perform a massive detour:
Blue: the old route which is no longer in use<br />Green: A required alternative
Blue: the old route which is no longer in use
Green: A required alternative
Though the distance is almost equal (56km versus 54 km) the driving time shows a massive impact: instead of 47 minutes it now takes 1:23 which is almost double the time!

Currently the incident is displayed with a 3 months interval (2.12.2021 - 1.4.2022) I am quite sure that this wil take much longer.

If you want to check live traffic content just use the showcase.

Best regards,
Bernd

Here's another update:
Starting with the HERE 2022.2 map version the bridge near Lüdenscheid is blocked in the map itself.
So no matter which feature layer you activate: you won't use the damaged bridge with that map.
no featurelayer activated... blocked anyway
