Hello there,

some customers seem to be able to model their usecase both with TransportDepot and TransportAB. Is there any specific reason why a customer should prefer one of those order types even if both seem to be valid?
Performance? Quality?

In the BalancingParams documentation it mentions

Therefore it is recommended to use mainly TransportDepot and to add only a smaller part of TransportAB to the planning.

How about the StandardParams usecase? Any interesting side effects?

• if possible use TransportDepot. This will lead to better performance and quality.
• Sometimes you don't have another choice than using TransportAB, e.g. if the availability of different goods at the depot is given at different timeslots
